Opening weekend — horse-drawn rides, taffy on snow, and sugar bush tours
Opening weekend of maple syrup season, and it's the closest sugar bush to the city. Horse-drawn carriage rides, Indigenous and settler syrup-making demos, magicians, stilt walkers, and taffy on snow. Arrive early — it gets busy by noon.
Same great TRCA maple festival as Kortright but at a different location — good backup if Kortright sells out. Beautiful sugar bush trails through the woods.
ROM's blockbuster closes March 22 — Megalodon jaws and Saturday scavenger hunts
Life-size Megalodon jaws, a 10-metre shark model overhead, and dozens of interactives. Closes March 22 so this is one of your last weekends. Saturday has Signature Hunts for families — a guided scavenger hunt through the whole museum.

Temporary art installations built around lifeguard towers along the beach. This year's theme is "Mirage." Kids can climb on and interact with many of the structures. Combine with a beach walk — no tickets needed.
Monoprinting at the AGO Saturday, plus a free 1800s farmhouse in Toronto
